Training Refund and Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations, transfers and refunds work for paid trainings offered by DataBrainzAI LLP, trading as Data Brainz AI. It applies to live online, classroom (Pune) and hybrid batches.
The terms below are our current standard policy. If the page for a specific batch, or your invoice, states different terms, those terms apply to that batch.
Registration
Your place on a batch is confirmed once we receive your payment and send you a registration confirmation. Until then, a place is not reserved.
If you cancel
Cancellation periods are counted from the start date and time of the batch.
- 7 or more days before the batch starts: full refund, minus any charges made by our payment provider for processing the payment.
- 3 to 6 days before the batch starts: 50% refund of the fee paid.
- Within 72 hours of the start, or after the batch has started: no refund.
If you are not eligible for a refund, you may instead transfer once, free of charge, to a later batch of the same training that starts within 6 months of your original batch. If the later batch has a higher price, you pay the difference.
If we reschedule or cancel a batch
We may need to reschedule or cancel a batch, for example if there are too few participants or a trainer is unavailable. If we do, we will tell you as early as we can, and you can choose either:
- a full refund of the fee paid, or
- a transfer to another batch of the same training.
No-shows
If you do not attend and have not cancelled, no refund is due. You may request a free transfer to a later batch on the same terms as above.
Substitutions
Corporate participants may be replaced by another person from the same organisation at no charge, as long as you tell us before the batch starts.
Corporate batches
Batches arranged specifically for an organisation are governed by the agreement we sign with that organisation. Where that agreement differs from this policy, the agreement applies.
Offers and coupons
Offers and coupon codes cannot be combined unless the offer says so. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Any refund is calculated on the amount you actually paid.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method, within 7 to 10 working days after approval. The time it takes to reach your account may also depend on your bank.
GST
Training fees are charged plus GST. GST on refunds is handled in line with the applicable GST law, including the issue of a credit note where required.
How to request a cancellation, transfer or refund
Email contact@databrainzai.com with:
- your name and the email address used to register
- the training name and batch start date
- your registration or invoice number
- whether you want to cancel, transfer or substitute a participant
We will confirm the outcome in writing.
